These are miscellaneous sounds recorded from my window during an airshow at a nearby airport. Recorded in mono with a large diaphragm condenser mic modded by michael joly. Format 44. 1/24.

Plane- it’s difficult to get good recordings of planes taking off these days. There’s always major streets or highways close by which results in a bunch of unwanted traffic noise. It’s difficult to find a good vantage point to set up because there’s hardly any public parking with unobstructed sight lines (or in my case hearing lines) to the planes. Plus, with all the extra security measures in place these days, how suspicious would i look setting up a laptop andsome cables and some other electronic equipment in the general area of the runway?but i managed to get this recording. It’s not spectacular, but it’s ok. There’s some worker truck at the end of it which gets in the way, but doesn’t ruin it. This low rumble was first created to represent an airplane.

Recreated sounds of a field recording done for loyola high school. There are only two sounds under an attribution license. For the first sound, i just made the duration shorter. Recorded on 06/23/19 at 8:45 a. M. Outside nassau hall, a historic building located in syosset, ny. Sounds that can be heard include: various birds, continuous planes flying overhead, an occasional passing car, a light breeze, a horse snorting (at 9:14 and 9:17), a few distant voices, and insects. A zoom h1n and 3dio fs binaural microphone were to used to record this track.

It's hard to find a good doppler scream and harder to make the effect in sound editing systems. Here's a few falling scream varieties. Just toy with the pitch and you make a variety of plummeting people. Recorded at home on a phone recorder.
